I'm Emi, a self-taught Afro-Latinx artist based in NYC, specializing in acrylic paintings and custom merchandise (sweater & painting pictured by me ). Born and raised in Brooklyn, my journey as an artist began in elementary school, where I discovered a natural flair for all things creative. By 6th grade, I had already illustrated a book for a classmate. While sketching has always been a natural hobby, my love for putting a paintbrush to canvas truly blossomed in the past couple of years, with acrylic paints becoming my current go-to medium. My artistic focus is deeply rooted in celebrating and portraying the strength and beauty of women.
On the professional side, I am also an operations enthusiast with over 18 years of experience in social media management, event coordination, and marketing. I bring a vibrant blend of creativity and business acumen to the table.
